FALL BALL INFORMATION 

Registration is open for players of rising Little League ages 8-14.  The fall season is designed to focus on player development and help prepare them for their next spring season. Here are some important details to expect for your RWLL fall season.

FALL BALL AGE DIVISIONS & FORMAT

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE FORMATS OF OUR DIVISIONS WILL BE DETERMINED BASED ON REGISTRATION NUMBERS.  BELOW ARE EXAMPLES OF DIVISION STRUCTURES FROM PRIOR SEASONS.

10u Division – Age 8-10 (DOB from 9/1/15 to 8/31/18): Weeknight practice (as daylight permits) and weekend games.  As in past years, RWLL will utilize our typical in-house format, in which RWLL teams compete against each other on our local fields. This allows us to manage the schedule and avoid conflicts with other Radnor fall sports. Games will be held at Encke Park, on the 46/60 fields.  If registration numbers are too low to have enough teams for an in-house league, we will participate in District 27 Little League (schedule determined by the District) and play games against other D27 leagues. There is a possibility of traveling up to 30 minutes for these games.

13u Division – Ages 11-13 (DOB from 9/1/12 to 8/31/15): Weeknight practice (as daylight permits) and weekend games.  Players will practice and play games on larger (50/70) fields allowing them the opportunity to gain experience and a better understanding of the game at the scholastic level (i.e., pitching from the stretch and windup, base running with leads, steals, pickoffs, etc.).  As in previous years, our older division will be kept in-house and RWLL teams will play against other RWLL teams, giving us full control over the schedule and allowing us to avoid conflicts with other Radnor fall sports. The games will take place on Intermediate (50/70) fields at Encke Park.

14u Division (DOB from 9/1/11 to 8/31/12): Depending on the level of interest, RWLL will enter a fall juniors team in D27 juniors division. Games will be played using Juniors League International rules on the big field –aka “60/90 field.”

Note: Schedule set by the District) and game will be played against other D27 leagues (travel time of up to 30-minutes for games).

  • The cost for fall baseball league play is $125.
  • Season begins the week after Labor Day and runs into late October / early November.

Important RWLL guidelines:

  • Players must reside in or attend a school located in Radnor Township.
  • Total number of divisions and teams will be at the discretion of RWLL and based on player registration.
